Description evandro.gardenali 2007-09-18 12:41:52 UTC
Hi!

I just used vinagre and I can say its a really cool vnc client. :)

I just wanted to post that it would be very useful if it could connect to NX servers since NX is a superb protocol and there is no gtk client at this time :(

Thanks for vinagre!

Evandro

Yes, I'd like it very much, too.

There's a fairly new project in freenx called nxcl [http://www.esfnet.co.uk/index.php?page=nxcl] that's bound to be of good use here.

You are probably aware of

nxlaunch[1][2] which is a gtk UI built atop this.

Comment 4 André Klapper 2021-05-26 09:25:11 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Vinagre, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/vinagre/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
