See http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2007-September/msg00101.html I agree that some people might want to download some documentation. Maybe it'd be nice to also explain that the API references are usually available as packages in the distributions and visible via devhelp?
Yes, it'd be nice to also explain that. And it would also be nice to be available as packages/tarballs downloading for non-gnome users, like Windows.
