Description Pedro Villavicencio 2007-09-10 15:29:12 UTC
This bug has been filled here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/138262

"Binary package hint: evolution

When you click on the formatting dropdown menu ("Normal", "Preformat", "Bulleted List", etc.), and select an item, the focus remains on the dropdown. So, if you start a bulleted list, you have to click back into the message field to be able to type again.

Expected behavior is that the focus should return to the message field, where the cursor was before selecting the dropdown."
Comment 1 Matthew Barnes 2008-03-11 00:36:43 UTC
Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2012-02-09 15:47:36 UTC
Having typed some letters in the message body, I clicked on the Format dropdown and in both cases the focus went back to the body and I could continue typing.

Tested in both Plain Text and HTML mode in 3.2.3 on Fedora 16.

Closing as FIXED - please reopen if you can still reproduce this.
