Description Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2007-09-02 04:54:08 UTC
Hi,
banshee wakes up the CPU too often while doing nothing. It's approximately 20 times/second.

> 3,0% ( 10,3) banshee : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
> 2,9% ( 10,0) banshee : futex_wait (hrtimer_wakeup)

Bye

Still a problem in trunk according to powertop.
Comment 2 Hew McLachlan 2010-02-07 04:24:29 UTC
Seems to be fixed in banshee 1.5.1
Comment 3 David Nielsen 2010-12-04 21:16:30 UTC
I can confirm that Banshee no longer figures on the list of top offenders.
