Created attachment 94480 [details] correct rendering in Windows notepad correct rendering in Windows notepad
The first two and last combinations are rendered wrong due to incorrect ligature rules defined in the font. Correct fonts that use 'post-base form' feature for these two conjuncts (post base forms of Ya and Va) render properly on pango. This also includes fonts developed for windows tested on pango.
The combination 3 and 4 are similar issues and a related bug is already filed at: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447035 I think this bug should closed.
Created attachment 144482 [details] Screenshot of latest testing with combinations in gedit The words are perfectly rendered is latest pango version: pango-1.26.0-1.fc12.i686 Screenshot attached.
