Description jyamada1 2007-08-24 02:34:20 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When selecting a full transaction, the "delete transaction" button does not delete the transaction or give feedback as to why it is not working. The delete function does work when selecting splits.

This occurred in GnuCash 2.0.5 as well, and does not work with my file, a fresh file, a manually entered transaction or a QIF imported transaction.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a transaction
2. Hit delete
3. Watch nothing happen
4. If it works, try again with my system :-)

Actual results:
Nothing, the transaction is not deleted

Expected results:
That the selected transaction would be deleted or that some feedback would be given

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Gentoo Linux (2.6.20-gentoo-r8)

This was resolved by using the "Reset Warnings" dialog to reset the delete transaction warning.

Note that it is still unexpected behavior to have the dialog off, but to be unable to delete.

Thanks.
