GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 468336
Close All & Quit menu missing from main toolbox
Last modified: 2008-10-30 19:57:18 UTC
From Debian bug report http://bugs.debian.org/438708: The File->Close All and Quit entries are missing from the main toolbox starting with 2.4.0-rc1. If I take out the Debug menu from toolbox-menu.xml, Close All & Quit show up.
From Debian bug report http://bugs.debian.org/438708: The File->Close All and Quit entries are missing from the main toolbox starting with 2.4.0-rc1. If I take out the Debug menu from toolbox-menu.xml, Close All & Quit show up. At first glance, it appears that this is because xsltproc is not removing the debug-menu section, but the debug-menu actions are #ifdefed out of actions/debug-actions.c and friends so there is no handler for it.
No bug here. Run "make maintainer-clean -k" and re-autogen.

Er, then it's still a problem with the tarball, since toolbox-menu.xml hasn't been regenerated there.
Argh you are right, apparently the make maintainer-clean -k was also forgotten before saying make dist for the release. Reopening so it's visible to prevent duplicates, will be fixed in the next release candidate.
Gah, and not even that was true. You guys were all right, it was a bug :/ Fixed in SVN now (leaving open anyway to prevent all the dups) 2007-08-20 Michael Natterer <mitch@gimp.org> * menus/Makefile.am: s/MAINTAINERCLEAN_FILES/MAINTAINERCLEANFILES/ Fixes bug #468336.

Closing as FIXED now that RC2 is out.
