Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-08-17 11:59:49 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/128930

"Binary package hint: evolution

The only options for modifying a recurring event are the following:

* Delete this occurrence
* Delete all occurrences

It would be great if there was a new options:

* Delete future occurrences

This would delete the current one and all of them in the future, effectively setting the end date for the event to the date of the previous occurrence.

Got a similar request from a Fedora user:

This option is now (3.16.x series) available via dialog after pressing the DEL key on a calendar event.
There is no such option in context menu.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
