Comment 1 Luis Medinas 2007-08-13 02:05:27 UTC
For now Brasero only supports beagle search i'm not familiar with the tracker API maybe someone could write a patch to add tracker support.
Comment 2 Luis Medinas 2007-09-09 23:00:58 UTC
I started working on the tracker backend. For now i renamed the brasero-search to brasero-search-beagle to add brasero-search-tracker soon. This feature will be only available on trunk or the next 0.7.
Comment 3 Björn Martensen 2008-01-14 19:20:48 UTC
wouldn't it be better to implement xesam?
Comment 4 Maciej (Matthew) Piechotka 2008-03-09 20:59:30 UTC
I think xesam would do it (sorry I answer unasked but I was about to post a bug about tracker support).
Comment 5 Luis Medinas 2008-04-27 21:14:53 UTC
Tracker will support xesam soon actually the developers are working on a branch.
So we need to switch to xesam as soon as tracker is fully supported.
Comment 6 Philippe Rouquier 2008-07-03 08:56:06 UTC
As long as glib-xesam is not available in major distros, this bug will be on hold.
Comment 7 Philippe Rouquier 2009-11-15 18:38:52 UTC
I fixed this bug in master. For now, brasero can use tracker > 0.7 as well as beagle. I did not use xesam as it seems that it did not reach its goal and moreover tracker became a blessed dependency.
