Description Gil Forcada 2007-08-07 18:52:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I came with:

#: ../src/totem-options.c:52
msgid "Print playing movie"

does it mean that it will print the name, or some sort of property, of the movie?

#: ../src/plugins/skipto/skipto.totem-plugin.in.h:2
msgid "Skipto"

it has to be joined?

#: ../browser-plugin/totem-plugin-viewer.c:1406
msgid "The Totem plugin could not startup."

it's different from the strings like: "could not load XXX" ? the startup is odd

Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

The title of the film, the same that appears in the titlebar. I added a comment for translators above the string.

I removed all the translation markers for the plugins that are builtin, as the strings don't show up in the UI anyway.

I rephrased it to "The Totem plugin could not be started." "Could not be started" on its own would have sounded a little odd though.

        * browser-plugin/totem-plugin-viewer.c: (totem_embedded_construct):
        Rephrase slightly so as to remove "startup" from the string

        * src/plugins/media-player-keys/media-player-keys.totem-plugin.in:
        * src/plugins/properties/movie-properties.totem-plugin.in:
        * src/plugins/screensaver/screensaver.totem-plugin.in:
        * src/plugins/skipto/skipto.totem-plugin.in:
        Remove translations from the builtin plugins, as they're not
        visible in the UI anyway

        * src/totem-options.c: Add a hint for translators
