I have noticed that most apps I use -I'm checking deluge and pidginright now- use the create / close animation when their interface is shown / sent to the notification area.

Rhythmbox, however, uses the minimise animation when the UI is hidden, and the create one when it is shown, which breaks consistency not only with other apps but also with itself.

Maybe it should be done as a workaround in Compiz Fusion's plugin?

Thankfully we ditched this crap
