Can you provide a link to the photo that causes the crash, or email it to me at mjc@avtechpulse.com? - Mike
Without the file, nothing much I can do either.

Can someone who experienced this bug provide a sample RAW photo that causes the problem (email it to mjc@avtechpulse.com)? Can you install the gthumb-debuginfo and libopenraw-debuginfo RPMs from the F7 debuginfo repo and reproduce the crash? This will give us a better backtrace. - Mike

I have a sample image from Wim Tops now, which causes this crash: Distribution: Fedora Core release 6 (Zod) Gnome Release: 2.16.3 2007-01-31 (Red Hat, Inc) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 System: Linux 2.6.22.9-61.fc6 #1 SMP Thu Sep 27 18:48:03 EDT 2007 i686 X Vendor: The XFree86 Project, Inc X Vendor Release: 40300000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled Memory status: size: 112660480 vsize: 0 resident: 112660480 share: 0 rss: 39010304 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1195506527 rtime: 0 utime: 299 stime: 0 cutime:263 cstime: 0 timeout: 36 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gthumb' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Wim, I forwarded your sample image to the developer of libopenraw, and he said that: 1) this file is not a true .crw file 2) http://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/ is the best place for libopenraw bug reports This is a libopenraw issue, so please file a bug there... - Mike
the bug has also been fixed in the current git version of libopenraw. It will simply ignore these files.
