Description Tino Meinen 2007-07-30 23:13:38 UTC
Everybody likes statistics, I know I do, so it would be nice if rhythmbox was able to display my most popular artist or album genre etc. Both in number of times listened to, and/or amount of time listened to.

Perhaps in the form of a pop-up page/tooltip that shows my top 10 or something. Displayed on demand through an option in the Help menu perhaps?

I think amount of time listened to is more relevant than number of times listened to, because the length of tracks in my collection ranges between 79 minutes and 3 seconds. But perhaps both could be displayed.

Perhaps last.fm style statistics is possible as well (i.e. weekly top artists etc). Would that require a different format of the rhythmbox database file?

What other statistics would be interesting to show?
