Description Gabor Kelemen 2007-07-29 21:33:33 UTC
http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gst-plugins-bad says:

	There are some missing files from POTFILES.in:

    * ext/audiofile/gstafsink.c
    * ext/audiofile/gstafsrc.c
    * sys/dxr3/dxr3audiosink.c
    * sys/dxr3/dxr3spusink.c
    * sys/dxr3/dxr3videosink.c
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2007-07-30 10:11:19 UTC
This is intentional. Those files are in CVS, but they are not dist'ed or used at the moment (no one has ported those plugins from GStreamer-0.8 to GStreamer-0.10 yet).
Comment 2 Gabor Kelemen 2007-07-30 12:08:02 UTC
If so, then please add them to POTFILES.skip, so that both intltool and translators will know about this.
Comment 3 Tim-Philipp Müller 2007-07-30 12:46:55 UTC
Our translators (from the translation project at the university of Montreal) will only ever get to see tarballs, so this is not a problem for them. Also, AFAIK we don't use intltool. Anyway, since you're the n-th person requesting this:

        * po/POTFILES.skip:
          Add POTFILES.skip with list of source files that aren't disted at the
          moment but contain translatable strings. Should hopefully pacify
          broken tools and make it clearer that these files are left out
          intentionally (#461601 and others).

(I feel it's wrong to add files to POTFILES.skip that aren't disted, but it looks like POTFILES.skip itself isn't disted either, so no problem there).
