Description Daniel Nylander 2007-07-24 13:41:45 UTC
#: ../src/file-manager/fm-icon-view.c:1441
msgid "Str_etch Icon"

I got some feedback from persons thinking that Strech Icon (localized) sounded a bit fuzzy. Personally, I think that Resize Icon suits better.

I am fine with "stretch icons" but, not being a native speaker, I'm not the best one to judge here. It would be good to come up with a decision (fixing it/WONTFIX) before the 2.23 string freeze.
Comment 2 Simon McVittie 2010-04-13 16:29:50 UTC
As a native en_GB speaker, I'd say Resize rather than Stretch (particularly because you can shrink icons with this menu item too).
Comment 3 Cosimo Cecchi 2010-04-13 16:32:40 UTC
Thanks Simon, let's use Resize then.

This will have to wait after we branch gnome-2-30 though.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
