The current dhcdbd doesn't work with dhcp-3.1
Dan already told us that dhcdbd is going to die but we need to find a solution to fix the bug reported here:

This sucks; but I guess we rename the option in dhcdbd?  Once dhcdbd is dead, we still need the option in NM though.

I believe upstream dhcp changed the -x option back to unused...  note that 0.7 doesn't use dhcdbd any more and doesn't have this problem.  If they actually _haven't_ changed back, then you can patch dhcdbd to just not pass the -x I think, since we found that it didn't really make a difference for some reason.
