Steps to reproduce:
1. Right click on the mixer applet icon

5. Came back to the previous device or reopen window (steps 1 and 2)

Actual results:
The program select every time the second channel of my list (Front) even if any other channel is selected. Just changing device and caming back let the program to set the "Front" channel.

Is this the same issue as bug 517538?
Comment 2 Volodymyr Khomchak 2009-02-11 18:58:53 UTC
I have the same problem, but I can't get back right track to control after it was changes.

Steps:

1) Access Volume Control Preferences
2) Change trap to Capture
3) Verify that your hot-keys change level for Capture
4) Set trap to Master
5) Try to low down volume by hot-key

Actual result :
Hot-keys control Capture channel

Expected Result:
Hot-keys should control Master channel

Sorry guys, in the mess I didn't noticed that I changed channel under System -> Preference -> Sound. So to reproduce this bug add this action after step 2 in comment #2. But this problem has been already described in bug #517538.
