GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 457401
Print invoice should not be disabled for unposted invoices
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:43:01 UTC
Reproduction: 1. Create new invoice 2. Enter all invoice statements 3. Try to print it Actual result: File | Print invoice... is disabled You need to post the invoice first, but I don't want to, because I have no need for it and just creates ghost entries in my accounting. Maybe I manage the unpaid invoices via other means, but I want to use GnuCash to create the invoice, because that's a convenient way to do it. Expected result: Being able to print at any time (unless, maybe, I have an unfinished statement line). Other information:

Created attachment 199227 [details] [review] Add the ability to print unposted invoices. This feature used to exist and the invoice had a line: Invoice in progress... in place of the payable by date. Is there any reason this feature was removed? If there was then close the bug but if not then the fix is in the patch.
Comment on attachment 199227 [details] [review] Add the ability to print unposted invoices. IMHO this feature has some potential usecase and should be enabled.
Comment on attachment 199227 [details] [review] Add the ability to print unposted invoices. Oops! Patch doesn't work as is. I need to do a little more work before committing.
Committed to SVN as r21516.
Thanks :-)
