Description Sébastien Bertrand 2007-07-12 17:03:57 UTC
Add support to be able to create a video DVD from an MPEG, AVI, MOV video file, suitable for home DVD players.

Like DeVeDe (http://www.rastersoft.com), which uses Mplayer, Mencoder and DVDAuthor, so you can use any video playable with Mplayer.

Why not integrate with DeVeDe? Maybe a plugin?

And even the DeVeDe interface it's similar to Brasero. Take a look: http://www.rastersoft.com/programas/devede.html

I started development for Video project already (for 0.9 series). It's a special branch called "video" (in SVN). So far what it does basically is just burn a video DVD from any video file supported by gstreamer.
NOTE: options doesn't work so far.

I was hoping an integration with DeVeDe but I'm glad that the project wants to add Video support.
Comment 5 Philippe Rouquier 2008-08-09 11:42:39 UTC
That feature has been added to 0.8.1 which should be released really soon.
I'm closing this feature request.
