when I use the scroll wheel Rythmbox's 'tray Icon' it adjusts the volume in a very course resolution, When I do the same thing with the volume control inside Rythmbox, the resolution is perfect!

I find it annoying that they are not both the same.

Other information:

This looks sensible enough to me.  I've never really thought about the issue, though.
