Wired-wireless mistranslations in po/ja.po
Last modified: 2012-09-06 21:22:39 UTC
Incorrect translation Application: NetworkManager Incorrect text: Japanese translation catalog po/ja.po contains wired-wireless mistranslations in two messages: the Japanese translations say that the wireless connection is available, although the original English messages say that the wired network connection can be used. Should be: Please apply a patch attached to the Bug#430672 in the Debian BTS. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=430672
Created attachment 91097 [details] [review] Patch to fix mistakes. Here is a patch from the Debian BTS.
Applied to the NETWORKMANAGER_0_6_0_RELEASE. Notice: Do not attach a binary file (i.e. compressed file) here.
This bug still exists in the network-manager-applet package's network-manager-applet-0-6 branch. Sorry, I didn't know that network-manager-applet was split off from NetworkManager (so, are po files in the NetworkManager package meaningless...?). Since the mistranslations are corrected in the network-manager-applet's trunk, they will be fixed in the future releases some time. However, it would be good to see the fix in the 0.6 branch.
Closing as per comment #3. Also, 0-6 branch is long deprecated.
