Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-06-25 10:29:24 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/120162

"Binary package hint: eog

Unlike in previous versions, I am unable to click and drag to pan around the image. This is a regression, I think. Unless this is considered an improvement :S.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
Date: Wed Jun 13 17:29:45 2007
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/eog
Package: eog 2.19.3-0ubuntu1
...
For reference, this operation can be carried out on Feisty (7.04) with eog 2.18.1. Bear in mind that the "Normal" or zoom in mode should be enabled, as it will not allow panning around an image that has been shrunk to fit the current window."
Comment 1 Felix Riemann 2007-06-25 11:34:21 UTC
I think what you are looking for is now on the middle mousebutton.
The current trunk should work with Ctrl-Mouse1 too.
Comment 2 Lucas Rocha 2007-06-25 11:41:03 UTC
According to HIG, dragging should be done with middle-button (Mouse2). Additionaly, I added Ctrl-Mouse1 for dragging as Felix pointed out. Closing as WONTFIX.
