Description Loïc Minier 2007-06-23 20:14:30 UTC
Hi,

Distributors rely on AM_MAINTAINER_MODE to avoid timestamp screws (happens frequently when applying/unapplying patches touching autotools stuff).

AM_MAINTAINER_MODE was removed with the update to automake 1.9 in r2416, but as far as I know automake 1.9 doesn't support AM_MAINTAINER_MODE by default, it still needs to be present.

Please re-add AM_MAINTAINER_MODE.

Thanks,

        * configure.in: Re-add AM_MAINTAINER_MODE for now until there's
        concensus about removing it. Bug #450450.
