Probably the name should be different, but I guess that this at least describes the option sufficiently ;-). I love this functionality in slrn.

I believe it'd be a useful option as well, and encouraged filing the bug when the suggestion came up on the list. =8^)

I'm not absolutely sure I'd end up using it, since I keep fairly short subscribed group lists by using multiple pan instances, but I'd give it a try and may end up liking it.  For those with fifty or a hundred subscribed groups, some of which are relatively quite and don't always/often have posts, this could be quite useful indeed!
