GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 45004
Information about currentness of search results is easy to miss in the status bar.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
This is a bug filed as a result of our triaging of bug 43920 (or the last part of it anyways) for 1.0. We elected to add a status bar message about the fact that search results will only include indexed files, and so some files may be missing. The problem is that the message in the status bar disappears after 10 seconds, and is easily missed. There are a bunch of suggestions on how, given more time, this message could be better placed in bug 43920. This bug should be deferred, as it is a tracker for completing the task given "more time" ------- Additional Comments From rebecka@eazel.com 2000-12-18 10:49:24 ---- I'm going to assign this to Arlo, so he can help us think up a better design for post 1.0 ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:46 -------
Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
Search is no longer part of Nautilus atm. So I am closing this.
Sorry for the SPAM. Re-opening the old search bugs and assigning them to Rebeckas old Eazel account.
Bug closed as proposed by Curtis C. Hovey, substitute maintainer of Medusa
