Description derGott 2007-06-11 20:21:38 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have two tabs in the preferences: "Running on AC" and "General".
I set "Put computer to sleep when is inactive for:" to "Never", but my computer still automatically suspends after 1-2 hours.

Like a proof for this, here is a line from /var/log/messages from today:
Jun 10 20:17:02 jingle gnome-power-manager: (mm) Rechner wird in
Bereitschaft versetzt da Systemleerlauf

It is in German, but it says: Computer will be suspended because of inactivity

Steps to reproduce:
1. set "Put computer to sleep when is inactive for:" to "Never"
2. leave a computer without doing anything for 1-2 hours

Actual results:
computer goes to suspend mode (suspend to ram)

Expected results:
not to go to suspend mode

Does this happen every time?
yes, always.

Other information:
I am using Slackware 11.0 with Dropline 2.18.1

	* src/gpm-idle.c: (gpm_idle_init):
Initialise a variable to maybe fix #446496.

Please can you try that? Thanks.
