GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 44540
Search Needs Support for Logical OR
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper: Adding more option in the search toolbar results in adding logical AND operations. It would be nice to be able to find all text documents with a series of: "ends with: [Tt][Xx][Tt]" OR "ends with: [Tt][Ee][Xx][Tt]" OR "ends with: [Dd][Oo][Cc]" There are numerous other examples * REPRODUCIBLE: Always * STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Hit Find on the toolbar 2. Try to add more options * ACTUAL RESULTS: search defaults to logical ANDs * EXPECTED RESULTS: Should give the option of logical ANDs or ORs ------- Additional Comments From darin@bentspoon.com 2000-11-06 12:56:03 ---- Good suggestion for post-1.0. ------- Additional Comments From rebecka@eazel.com 2000-11-16 18:33:10 ---- Lots of details to be worked out for this one. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:45 ------- The original reporter (ghayes@syncomm.org) of this bug does not have an account here.
