Description John Sullivan 2001-09-10 00:46:21 UTC
To reproduce:
(1) Launch Nautilus
(2) If necessary, change the search preference in the user level settings dialog
to "search for files by name and attributes"
(3) Press Find button
(4) Change the criterion-type popup (first one) from "name" to "size"
(5) Type in 2000 into the text field. It now says you're looking for files
larger then 2000 K.
(6) Press "Find Them" button, wait for search results to appear

Note that the window title says you've found items larger than 2000000 bytes.
This is wrong in at least one way, perhaps in two. The text field took values in
K, but the window title reports them in bytes, which is inconsistent and must be
fixed. Also, 2000 K does not equal 2000000 bytes, since 1 K = 1024 bytes. But
this is irrelevant if you fix the problem by making the window show the results
in K like the entry field does.

File search is no longer a part of Nautilus. Closing this bug.

Sorry for the SPAM. Re-opening the old Search bugs and assigning them
to Rebeckas old Eazel account.
