Description pot 2007-05-10 08:57:33 UTC
This is a grave bug observable in 1.7.8 but not in 1.7.0.

Load the gnumeric spreadsheet from <http://librarian.launchpad.net/7487307/bug.gnumeric>.
Look at the formula 'sheet 2'!I421: it makes reference to $A421.
Go to sheet 1.
Select row 409.
Insert a new row
Go to sheet 2.
Look at formula I421. It has changed and now makes reference to $A422.
Also all the formulas above have changed.

This test case is a reduction from a much bigger spreadsheet. I was not able to reduce it further, because the bug disappears if rows or columns are deleted. In order to keep working with my spreadsheet, I had to downgrade gnumeric to 1.7.0.
