Description Kenneth Sundqvist 2007-05-06 21:15:13 UTC
Although referring to the same, both "Path" and "Location" are being used.

Path: Smart playlist filter type.
Location: Column title. Metadata.

When entering a smart playlist filter with the type Path, it is most likely that one uses the Location column or the Location information in the metadata dialogue, or using a file browser (such as Nautilus, where it is also labeled as Location,) to find the path that one wants to filter by.

Entering filter by Path and looking for the Location of a file isn't logical.
Therefore I propose to chance the smart playlist filter type Path to be named Location.

Please use keyword "usability" only when this issue will need explicit
help of usability team.

See help for further details: This keyword describes a usability/user interface
change where the correct behavior is not necessarily obvious and input from the
usability team is _desired_.

Path -> Location patch in SVN

Here's a patch applied to today's SVN. Had to pick around all the valid Path syntax to find the Path words. :)

Thanks! (You too, Ruben, for closing it.) Hopefully just the first of many. :)
