Description bjohnson 2007-05-06 02:04:47 UTC
Please describe the problem:
You can best see this problem by generating a report with a heading image and then select print. Select a pdf printer, and print preview - notice the image is not cut off. Select a physical printer and print preview - notice the image is cut off.

It prints the same as it looks in the preview, both to the printer and the pdf respectively.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In this case, generate an invoice with a heading image and print it
2.
3.

Actual results:
heading image is cut off

Expected results:
same output as printing to a pdf

Does this happen every time?
yes

Unfortunately this might be totally the fault of the gnome printing system and not gnucash's fault at all. Which gnome-print versions do you have installed? Also, bug#350408 might be related.

You'll see in bug #350408 comment #16, I applied the patch from comment #15. I get the same results here either way.

libgnomeprint22.i386 2.12.1-9.fc6 installed
libgnomeprintui22.i386 2.12.1-6 installed

With regards to my bug report 552163, I was not printing a PDF invoice. I selected a style sheet to apply. The bug also occurs on the default invoice.

Occurs on my Ubuntu 8.04 with Gnome 2.22.3, GnuCash 2.2.4.
Comment 7 Esther 2008-11-28 16:18:52 UTC
Appears to be fixed with 2.2.6 Ubuntu 8.10
