Description Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2007-05-03 10:37:46 UTC
The m4a file at:
http://www.linuxrising.org/files/problematic.m4a

If I try to play it using:
gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=problematic.m4a ! qtdemux ! decodebin2 ! audioconvert ! alsasink

I get:
** (gst-launch-0.10:8741): CRITICAL **: gst_adapter_flush: assertion `flush <= adapter->size' failed

This is the same error I would get if I replace 'decodebin' with 'faad'. However if I replace decodebin with 'qtdemux ! faad' then it plays fine.

Stupid error caused by broken internal plugin
