GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 435018
Dependency list for Ubuntu missing known deps
Last modified: 2014-08-30 00:11:32 UTC
Before use garnome, I installed all files listed in the dependencies page, but when it started to compile the libbtctl-0.8.2 it's doesn't find the OpenOBEX dependencie. There is any repo where we can fill patchs against the garnome page?
Thanks for the report, Carlos. The Ubuntu deps list obviously is out of sync, both openobex-devel and python-crypto are mentioned for Fedora but not Ubuntu (DEPS-LIST and online documentation). $ egrep -i 'obex|crypto' DEPS-LIST python-crypto (revelation) openobex-devel (libbtctl) Adjusting subject accordingly. Can you tell us the relevant Ubuntu package names you installed? > There is any repo where we can fill patchs against the garnome page? This place is just fine, since in bugzilla we only got a Component 'general'.

I want to know if the garnome HTML page is maintained in any SVN repo, so I can checkout it and make patchs for it.

The GARNOME pages pages can be found in www.gnome.org/projects/garnome/. However, I don't think we need a patch for this. ;)
GARNOME has not seen any code changes since 2008: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/garnome/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
