Pre-1970 asset amounts do not show up on balance sheet report in the asset total or total equity. The amount does show correctly in the account screen.

Work-around = enter date as 01/01/1970

I'm not sure how dates before 1970-01-01 are represented at all inside the program. I'd guess they are wrong in many places there. Sorry, but we won't work on that issue.
