[ Forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/409268 ]

"When I click on "Edit -> Current Profile...", the Editing Profile window immediately disappears once on two: the first time, it disappears, the second time, it appears as expected, the third time, it disappears, and so on. Ditto when I click on Edit from the Profiles window."

"I've done other tests by typing gnome-terminal from an xterm. Each time the window disappears, I get the following error:

(gnome-terminal:32090): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_file_system_unix_get_parent: assertion `g_path_is_absolute (filename)' failed"

Not reproducible on trunk.
Comment 2 Vincent Lefevre 2008-05-30 08:49:08 UTC
With the gnome-terminal 2.22.2-1 Debian/amd64 package, I can see a slight variation of this bug: the Editing Profile window disappears immediately after the first time I open it (just after starting gnome-terminal), but the next times are all OK (until I quit gnome-terminal and restart it). This is 100% reproducible.

I don't know if this is the same bug or caused by something else...
Comment 3 Christian Persch 2008-05-30 18:48:58 UTC
2.22.2 is old; trunk is changed.
