GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 430130
Windows gnucash crashes when importing OFX file
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:32:12 UTC
I have an OFX file I downloaded and tried to import using the latest (15877) Windows GnuCash. It crashes each time when trying to import, even with a fresh new gnucash file. It imports fine using 2.0.5 on Debian.

Fixed by r15909. Thank you for the report! I leave this bug open because the imported transactions do not look well-formed yet. (Will look at that later today, maybe on a new bug).
Oops... I was seeing 0, simply because EUR != USD. So this bug can be closed.
Its happening again, this time with r16056. To recreate, open a new file with all the defaults, import the attached OFX file, select an account, watch it crash. It doesn't happen under linux.

Does it really crash or is it a duplicate of bug 395327, i.e. the windows/dialogs are still visible, can be moved around, but are unresponsive because some (error) dialog opened in the background?
it really crashes.
OK, you did not mention bayesian matching, right? ;-) So I think this second issue has been fixed in r16060, see bug 436455.
OK.. you got me.. I'll test it out when I get home. Thanks!
Works now. Thanks!
