"It would be nice if gnome-cd didn't cut off track names in the dropdown when
space is actually available, as seen here:

What makes you think gnome-cd cuts the track names? I don't think there's any code doing this. does cddb-slave show them truncated? Are they truncated on the server?
Comment 2 Sven Arvidsson 2007-04-11 15:00:40 UTC
The screenshot in the original report show the full track name in the window title, and truncated in the track list.

A quick test here, with gnome-cd 2.18 does show the full track in the track editor, but truncated in the list.

Interesting... I'll look and see how this is possible.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

vumeter, cddb, and gnome-cd have been removed since GNOME 2.28. They have long been abandonned, and it's now time to close your bug that will most probably never be fixed.

By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME.
