Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

In particular, debug symbols for gstreamer core and gst-plugins-base would be helpful here.

I rebuild gstreamer0.10 ( the core package ) and gstreamer0.10-base with the debug symbols. The installed packages are now a lot bigger.

I mean, when I used the other visualizations, gstreamer0.10-libvisual , it doesn't crash with the other visualizations.

The crash doesn't seem to happen anymore under gstreamer 0.10.13
