Description jason fuchs 2007-03-29 04:40:49 UTC
Just requesting future plugins for Jamendo and Magnatune as rhythmbox has them already - would be great to have them integrated into Banshee...
Comment 1 Brad Jensen 2008-03-30 07:14:03 UTC
I definitely agree on this one!
Comment 2 Michał Sawicz 2008-04-04 22:18:15 UTC
As far as I know, Jamendo implemented the Last.fm API to access their services, the wiki said getting it to work was as easy as changing the endpoint.

The site seems to be down at the moment, so I can't confirm now, but it's worth investigating.

Details can be found here:

From what I've read it's not complete, yet...

This bug is valid for 1.0, changing version to SVN trunk.
Comment 5 Sandy Armstrong 2008-06-26 16:21:33 UTC
Though perhaps it should be marked as a dupe of newer bug #525869...

(What's the use of that bug? Metabugs like that are IMO useless, because it's hard to show incremental progress, or progress for completely separate plugins.)
Comment 7 Gabriel Burt 2008-06-26 19:53:08 UTC
The point, IMO, is to prevent bugzilla from being filled with dozens of related enhancement requests before any work as begun on any of them. It makes sense to me to create individual ones only when work begins. What's the point of this one lumping Jamendo and Magnatune together?
Comment 8 Sandy Armstrong 2008-06-26 19:59:50 UTC
Okay, marking as dupe then.

The info in this bug is good, though, about Jamend and the last.fm API.
