Description Will Farrington 2007-03-18 19:17:21 UTC
Many other media players, such as Quod Libet and Amarok, offer an algorithm that automatically rates tracks in the library based upon how often they are listened to and whether or not you skip from them to another track, etc.

Banshee should support this, whether it be building off of the current Ratings system (like how Quod Libet does), or by implementing another column (Score, like Amarok) for these.

This sounds like a good idea for an extension.

Marking this a duplicate of bug 555116 because it already has a working patch.
