The file-types and localization capplets are neither distributed nor maintained (and haven't been for a while).

Jens: well, the code should be removed in trunk, then :-) If we don't remove the code, then let's just fix this in case we distribute them again in the future.

(I'm reopening, which arguably may not the best thing to do in this case)
