Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-03-10 16:42:11 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/bugs/90110

"Binary package hint: evolution

When importing a vcf file, in my case that from kabc, the field "file under" is empty for all contacts... As consequence I can not modify any contact, because I'm not able to save them... even if I enter something in the "file under" field manually.

I get the error message "error modifying contact : contact not found"

Here is an extract from the vcf file :

could you attach a test card that has been imported already ?
Comment 2 Sebastien Bacher 2007-04-20 15:47:19 UTC
What do you mean?
Comment 3 Gilles Dartiguelongue 2007-04-20 22:10:10 UTC
a card that you imported from kabc into evolution that shows the problem but that has no valuable data.
Comment 4 Øystein Gisnås 2007-04-21 17:39:41 UTC
In 2.10.1 (I have tried no other version) it still doesn't show up in "File as". If you edit the name though, it will populate "File as", so there's no problem editing a record.

Please verify that this bug can be closed.

No reply of the Ubuntu bug submitter, so I closed it there.

Bumping version to a stable release.
