Last modified: 2007-06-05 11:37:05 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/bugs/88514 "Binary package hint: rhythmbox Feisty on amd64. When I right-click on the rhythmbox icon on gnome-panel while playing a song and selecting to jump to the previous track, it jump to the beginning of the currently played song, which is right, but it cease playing. It is necessary, in full view, to jump one track forward and backward again to convince rhythmbox to start playing again. ... http://librarian.launchpad.net/6627486/log.tar.gz GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=5 rhythmbox &>log I recorded the log. During running rhythmbox, it worked once in the UI and failed with the panel icon. ... I can reproduce this, but I think the problem is wider than just moving forward / backwards with the panel icon. It happens to me all the time, where Rhythmbox will finish playing one song, move to the next and sit at 0:00. It thinks it is playing, but time does not move and sound is not heard. Skipping to other tracks sometimes kick starts it again. quinnman, if you use the slider to skip to a second into the song when it is 'hung' does it start to play? ..."
works fine with rhythmbox 0.10.0 according to the submitter
