Description David Prieto 2007-02-27 15:29:15 UTC
Please describe the problem:
there's something wrong with my camera and it saves all pictures as taken on 1/1/2002.

Since f-spot stores files based on their date, all the files I import in f-spot are saved to the wrong place (~/fotos/2002/2/2). I can change their date manually, but f-spot does not move the actual files when I do so so they remain in the wrong folder forever.

Moreover, f-spot creates a 3-layered folder to save the files, so finding a specific file from a browser becomes a nightmare.

Steps to reproduce:
1. take a picture with the wrong date.
2. import it in f-spot.
3. change the date from f-spot.

Actual results:
The picture remains saved in the wrong folder, ~/fotos/2002/2/2.

Expected results:
The picture should be saved to another folder, based on the proper date.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

I can confirm the bug. This happens every time and is very easy to reproduce.
