Are you still seeing this? Do you have any steps to reproduce?
Comment 2 Sebastien Bacher 2007-04-19 15:31:40 UTC
Distribution bug comment:

"I have upgraded to herd5 (with xorg-7.2) but this problem still has not gone away.

The steps to reproduce this crash:

1. open a medium- to large- sized plain text document (> 7 pages, the larger the better)

2. go to file -> print, change some of the settings (e.g. print two pages on one page), go to print preview (within the print window).

3. close the print preview window. In some occasions it crashes now and the gedit window disappears altogether

4. if this does not crash gedit, repeat step 1-3 a few times and it will crash easily."
Comment 3 André Klapper 2009-08-11 20:11:07 UTC
Is this still an issue in GNOME 2.24/2.26?

Note that gnome-print has been deprecated and superseded by GTK+ printing functionality since GNOME 2.16. This means that gnome-print is NOT actively maintained anymore.

If your reported issue is still valid for GTK+ printing, please feel free to file a bug report against gtk+/printing.
If it is OBSOLETE, feel free to close this report.

Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please
feel free to reopen the bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of GNOME 2.28.1 or later, thanks.
