Description Cyril 2007-02-23 05:16:21 UTC
The file chooser dialog hides the browsing part of the chooser, which is basically its essence, a file chooser should allow me to browse directly through my folders, I should not have to type Ctrl+L to type the url I want, nor click on an additional button to do so, nor bookmark each and everyone of my folders...
Why not keep it simple?

Because 90% of the users don't use it. It's simple enough to click control+L.

Btw, should have been filed against GTK+.
