GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 409940
Use po/LINGUAS
Last modified: 2008-02-26 20:51:11 UTC
Tomboy should use po/LINGUAS instead of ALL_LINGUAS in configure.ac. Let me know if I should cook up a patch.
Is there a specific advantage of doing this? I'm not too familiar with i18n in this case, but it sounds like the intl-tools will look for a po/LINGUAS file? I'd love to see a patch.
In this link you can see reasons to make this change: http://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/PoLinguas "Without LINGUAS file, to add a new language, the translators have to modify configure.ac directly. Using LINGUAS they just have to know about stuff in the po subdirectory."
Created attachment 88121 [details] [review] proposed patch Attched patch to add support for LINGUAS. Also I have update http://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/PoLinguas and added tomboy to the list with "patch" status. After apply patch please update page to done and color to green. Thanks.
Thanks Everaldo! Committed your patch to r1166 in trunk and updated the wiki page.
