The save button in the playlist has a tooltip saying 'Save...'. When I first read that, I thought that button was to save the selected files. Instead it's used to save the complete playlist. Therefor I suggest to change the tooltip of that button to 'Save Playlist...'.

I already created a simple patch for this and it's coming up.
