That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit-plugins/+bug/80736

"Binary package hint: gedit-plugins

I am testing Feisty Fawn.

The "build" shortcut (F8 key by default) does not work. In the settings window, I can correctly set the build shortcut to F8 (i.e. the key is recognized), but pressing F8 during edit does not work. The menu entry does work, on the other hand.

Also, would it be possible to auto-save the current document when using the "build" shortcut?"

I also noticed it wasn't working all the time, but I don't know where it comes from...
