Description Maciej Stachowiak 2001-09-10 00:56:26 UTC
OAF hardcodes file descriptor 123 as the file descriptor to use for
communicating the IOR. This is bad for two reasons:

* It will cause unnecessary failures on systems where the administrator has set
a relatively low per-process file-descriptor limit.

* It will cause serious problems if the process opens 123 or more file
descriptors at once before doing OAF stuff.

Miguel says that a fix for this same problem was checked into the gnorba library
2 or 3 weeks ago as of today (April 19th)

Setting all bugs to P6 to start official bug-prioritization plan. Please don't
set the priority to anything other than P6 unless you've got the gold seal of
approval for doing so.
